In this course, you will be introduced to the SAP S/4HANA software solution from SAP SE for production planning and control.
The course begins with an overview of SAP S/4HANA and a consideration of the technologies used there. Various planning strategies are then presented in detail. In addition to the theoretical introduction, there is a practical application of what has been learned on the SAP S/4HANA system based on the processing of case studies. The theoretical knowledge acquired is thus applied directly and thereby consolidated. The case studies are carried out on an SAP training system.
In the SAP S/4HANA system, you first create the master data of the required materials in order to then plan them using various strategies. You will then get to know the innovations that SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management offers for the planning and analysis of planning results. You will also learn about requirements planning in SAP S/4HANA and apply it in practice. In the last part of the course, there is an introduction to PP/DS as a further component of SAP S/4HANA, which can also be used in the context of production planning and control as well as materials management.
Learning Targets
After completing the course, you will be able to use the functions of the production planning and control area as well as large parts of the materials management area in an SAP S/4HANA system. You will learn to select planning strategies in the SAP S/4HANA system, to carry out requirements planning, to interpret and influence their results and to use selected functions and tools of advanced planning in PP/DS. As a result, you obtain special knowledge and skills in the following functional areas:

After the successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. The official SAP consultant certification in SAP S/4HANA PP with the title C_TS422 requires the contents of the two following courses that are directly based on each other.
