In this course, the software solution SAP S/4HANA from SAP SE is used for production planning and control. The knowledge you gained in the course Introduction to Production Planning and Manufacturing with SAP S/4HANA, which primarily focused on the area of production planning, is required here. This knowledge from the first course is taken up and deepened in the area of production control. During the course, you will put the theoretical content you initially acquired into practice by using integrated business processes on the living SAP system. This not only consolidates the learning content, but also the application competency that is so important in professional life.
After an initial overview of production control in SAP S/4HANA, the course gives a detailed insight into discrete manufacturing with production orders as well as process manufacturing. You will get to know all the functions required in practice for using production and process orders. You will also be introduced to repetitive manufacturing in SAP S/4HANA, which you will then carry out independently. The conclusion is a look at Lean Manufacturing and the Kanban process.

After completing the course, you will have in-depth, theoretical knowledge of production planning and control in the SAP S/4HANA system due to extensive descriptions of the individual planning elements in the area of production planning and control as well as manufacturing and its functions. You are able to use the functions of the production planning and control area as well as large parts of the manufacturing area in an SAP S/4HANA system. You are also able to carry out discrete manufacturing with production orders, process manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing, and the Kanban process in the SAP S/4HANA system.
