Advanced SAP S/4HANA Customizing

This course deals with advanced Customizing techniques for the leading standard Enterprise Resource Planning solution – SAP S/4HANA. Based on an all-encompassing implementation scenario that you will carry out actively in the system, a wide range of SAP S/4HANA organizational units and the entire organizational structure of the company will be created in the SAP system. Furthermore, you will customize own master data and map a detailed business process in the system to accomplish an end-to-end business scenario spanning the following applications: Production, Accounting, Logistics/Sales and Distribution, as well as Human Resources. Additionally, you will become acquainted with the customizing of own reports in conjunction with a variety of tools provided by SAP S/4HANA. The case studies are completed by in-depth theoretical foundation on the SAP Implementation Guide (IMG) and IMG projects as well as the client concept, Change and Transport Management, as well as the authorization concept of SAP systems.

This course requires that you have successfully accomplished the course Introduction to SAP S/4HANA Customizing and that you fully comprehend the content within the course. 

Based on the knowledge acquired in the course Introduction to SAP S/4HANA Customizing you will apply advanced techniques in order to customize an End-to-End Business Process including detailed settings of a variety of process steps. The goal of this course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of Customizing techniques in SAP S/4HANA, including:

• Client concept, Change and Transport Management
• Authorization concept of SAP Systems
• Maintaining and Managing own IMG Projects
• Customizing of the Organizational Model
• Customizing of Master Data
• Customizing of a detailed and all-encompassing End-to-End Business Process 
• Error-handling and dealing with incomplete Customizing settings
• Customizing of own Reports
  

By practically working on the implementation of processes and their integration, the participants will develop an in-depth understanding of the complete implementation process on all of the four SAP S/4HANA concept levels:  organizational units, master data, process, and reporting. Thus, participants will be thoroughly prepared for their future role of project employees or end-users in the field of SAP S/4HANA.

• Quick Viewer
• SAP Queries and InfoSet Queries
• Report Writer and Report Painter
• Enhancing your Customizing solution with a (relatively small) scenario which must be solved independently by the student.

• This course requires that you have successfully accomplished the course Introduction to SAP S/4HANA Customizing and that you fully comprehend the content within the course. Participants without knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Customizing have to participate previously or in parallel in the course Introduction to SAP S/4HANA Customizing.
